Madness Combat 7: Consternation - Cheshyre Madness
    Source:
    Madness Combat 07 by Cheshyre

This one was made for Madness Day 07. I don't know flash, but
I loved the Madness music and thought of doing a tribute to Cheshyre,
the composer of the Madness music. It's dark industrial. This version
is a more touched up version of the one I posted to Newgrounds.

Chrono Trigger - Tears of Contention
    Source:
    At the Bottom of Night
    Featured Artist(s): Karl Harmdierks (Bladiator) - Piano/Composition

Karl and I have been working on this one for a long time,
at least 6 months, in bits and pieces of course. We decided
we wanted to remix a Chrono Trigger piece and selected
"At the Bottom of Night" as our source. This is in a similar
style as "Clairvoyant Elegy" in that I'm just controlling the
strings, bass and drums while Karl dazzles with the piano.
Overall the piano is a little on the quiet side, but it still turned
out relatively well for my tastes. The title is based on a fiasco
that the OCReMix judges panel had in 2004 over a remix
    of the same source tune.

Final Fantasy 6 - The Haunted Train Disco
    Source:
    The Phantom Train #2

This was originally an entry into PRC22. About a year later I
decided to polish it up and submit it to OCR as my second accepted
remix. Although I had a bit of trouble with the way things turned out
when fixing it up. It's not really a disco so much as just a groove
piece with some creepy sounds through. I can't remember who
supplied the vocal samples at the beginning, so apologies to that
    talented individual.

    Final Fantasy 9 - Ipsen's Groove
    Source:
    Oielvert/Ipsen's Heritage

Made this today. The piece is a dance/groove remix of the title
music from Final Fantasy 9, which is also reused throughout the
game in different situations (with different takes on the theme.
ie: Oielvert and Ipsen's Castle.) The piece consists of a sine lead,
rhodes, bassline, organ, strings, vibraphone and some weird thing
called an "Atmosphere" playing the lead. Stylus RMX on the drums.

    Final Fantasy 10 - Via
    Source:
    Path of Repentance (Via Purifico)
    Featured Artist(s):
    Jill Goldin (pixietricks) - Vocals
    Philip Schwan (Tepid) - Composition/Arrangement

Well, with this remix, 80% of the credit belongs with Phil (Tepid.)
He sent this to me to get my opinion on it before submitting to OCR.
I wasn't fond of the drums he had in place and asked him to send me
a copy without drums so I could plonk some over the top and
demonstrate what I thought would sound more fitting. He liked it
enough that we just left them in and called it a collab. Fast forward
a few months and we both decided it needed some more work, which
brought in Jill (pixietricks) to do some backup vocals and really
give the piece that extra edge.

Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee - The Monsaic
    Source:
    The Monsaic

A remix of the music from "Monsaic Lines" in Abe's Oddysee
for the Playstation. The remix is a tribal-style piece, which
utilises the acoustic guitar, and tribal beats, as well as some
powerful acoustic drums, strings, woodwind slurs and wind ambience.

Pictionary - Person, Place or Groove?
    Source:
    Let's Draw A Picture

For the legendary Tim Follin. Or rather, I don't know if he's
"legendary", I actually made this mix for Larry Oji, fellow Judge
at OCReMix. He's running a Follin Project to celebrate the recently
retired composer. So I did this track. The source was just groovin'
even if the game sucked. It's piano, drums, and everything else
is just support. Some bar-ambience in the background too. Relax
and draw a picture to this piece.

    Raptor - PlectraSubCity
    Source:
    Level 2

This piece has an interesting story behind it. I originally made this
as a remix of one of the MIDI tracks for my new Doom mod. Funnily
enough, that MIDI was based on one of the Raptor sources. And by
remixing it, this ended up sounding like a remix of that Raptor source.
So with a bit more work and tweaking, it ended up being a Raptor remix.
Strange electronic beats, deep PlectraSub base, and a flanged guitar
that apparently sounds like an electric piano. The harp  is playing the
theme from the City of the Ancients in Final Fantasy VII.

Seiken Densetsu 3 - Electrion (Guitar Mix)
    Source:
    Swivel
    Featured Artist(s):
Damon De Maio (FIDGAF) - Electric Guitar

This one originated as my entry into PRC8. I won that competition,
but the piece still felt too empty to submit to OCR. So I asked Damon
to rip some guitar over the top and we included it in our IONCROSS
Freelancer: Total War Soundtrack. The guitar isn't balanced too well in
this version, but it's still a fun hiphop/chill piece to listen to.
